HNC is a certification that is accredited by Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) as Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) level 7 qualification.
SQA is the national accreditation and awarding body in Scotland. As an awarding body it works with schools, colleges, universities and government to provide high quality, flexible and relevant qualifications.
SCQF is Scotland’s national qualification framework that helps people to understand full range of Scottish qualifications, how these qualifications relates to each other and how different types of qualifications can contribute to improve the skills of the workforce.
The SCQF levels show the difficulty of various certifications/diplomas. Out of total 12 levels in the SCQF, level 1 being the least difficult and level 12 is the most difficult.
The HNC accounting group awards are based on the standard accounting practice. They have up to date relevance and appeal for those seeking employment in the accounting sector. It provides candidate the right skills and knowledge they need to meet the requirements of employers.
HNC Accounting gives a candidate a scope to develop and progress to further professional and academic qualification such as ACCA, CIMA and ICAEW and advance placements in various undergraduate programs of UK universities.

The ideal qualification to start HNC is Intermediate or O’Levels. However, Martric students can also apply. Their final selection will be on interview and grades in Matriculation exams.
B.Com students may claim exemptions from 3 HNC courses.
We will be offering HNC and HDB classes at PECHS and Cams Clifton campuses. Students can apply for admissions on the basis of their 1st year or O’ Level results.
