About NCUK:

NCUK was created in 1987 by some of the UK’s leading universities as a pioneering project to run split degree programs for Malaysian Government sponsored students. Today it works in countries all over the world, including China, Kenya, Korea, Ireland, Japan, Nigeria and Sri Lanka, to create a quality international experience for students and education partners. Its aim is to provide cost-effective, pathway program that prepare international students for a UK degree. In Pakistan, NCUK is working with 11 of the best UK universities and high profile institutions in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.

  • Registration Fees are payable in GBP via Cash or Pay Order/Bank Draft in the name of Northern Consortium UK.
  • Semester Fees are payable in Pak Rs. @ Rs. 145/GBP.
    (i.e. 1500 X 145 = Rs. 217,500.) via Pay Order in the name of CAMS.

Admissions:

Eligibility for NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY):

• FA, or FSC with a minimum of 60%
• AS level 80 UCAS tariff points with grade ‘C’ in two subjects
• IELTS of 5.5 or GCE O ‘Level English grade C or equivalent

Eligibility for NCUK International Diploma (Int. Dip.):

• A-level 200 UCAS tariff points with grade ‘C’ in two subjects including mathematics. For engineering programme grade ‘C’ in physics & mathematics
• IELTS of 6.0 or GCE O ‘Level English grade C or equivalent
Also,
• Students without an appropriate English qualification will have to pass an NCUK English test.
• All students will be subject to an interview with an NCUK Centre representative.

Below are the English Language entry requirements for NCUK Programmes. NCUK accepts a variety of qualifications for progression onto its programmes and you can use these tables to determine if your qualifications match NCUK’s requirements.

The minimum accepted English Language grades for our programmes are displayed in the table.

Note that we do not stipulate minimum component requirements for those qualifications which are broken down into reading, writing, speaking and listening (IELTS, TOEFL etc.).
